Fire Department

The Van Buren Volunteer Fire Department is a community-powered department committed to protecting Van Buren and the surrounding areas. Our volunteers train year-round to respond to a wide range of incidents, including structure and vehicle fires, rescue calls, and emergency operations that require coordination across agencies.

We’re proud to serve a region that includes river access, rural roads, and remote terrain. That means preparedness and coordination are essential. Whether the call is a house fire, an accident on the roadway, or a search effort in difficult conditions, our team shows up ready.
